Q. Dose the Softmetal film
have an adhesive backing?
A. Yes, most of our decorative
films have a non-permanent adhesive
backing. This helps the film to stay on over extended period of time.
It also helps keep the corners from lifting.
Q. Do you Need any special
tools?
A. No, Most people have already have the tools needed: Tape Measure,
Razor knife, Scissors and a Plastic Squeegee,
Q. How do you remove the
Softmetal film?
A. The Softmetal film can simply
peel off. Just pull back a corner to start peeling off.
Warming the film with a blow dryer is helpful and will pull off
easier. If any adhesive residue remains it can be sprayed with
warm soapy, water WD-40, Windex or Adhesive Remover, let it set
for a few seconds, and then wipe clean. A plastic squeegee may also be
helpful but is not necessarily needed.
Q. My appliances have a slight texture
will this show through the Softmetal?
A. No, the Softmetal film is thick enough that it should cover the
texture and go on smooth unless there are large kinks or deep
scratches.
Q. Can the Softmetal films be used on
Plexiglass and other surfaces?
A. Yes, any of the Softmetal films can
be used on plexiglass or other surfaces. It is best to start with a
clean surface.
Q. Are the Softmetal films OK to use on
Ranges and ovens?
A. Yes, The Softmetal film is heat
resistant from 50°F-122°F (degrees). So it may the be used on
the outside door panel or top of range as long as heat dose not exceed
122°.
Q. How do I care for my Softmetal
film?
A. Although the Softmetal film is
scratch resistant we recommend using Windex or Mild soapy water to
clean.

How do I place a film order?
A. Most of our window film comes in standard width sizes and is sold by
the linear foot. When you click the "add to cart" button, just change
the number in the quantity box to however many feet in linear length
you

of the screen for you to print out if paying by mail (money order) or
Faxing your order.

Q. What is
your return/refund policy?
A. We highly recommend that you order a sample of the film you are
interested in to make sure it will work for you before you place an
order. We do accept returns, however we do not refund shipping charges,
only the retail price of the film. The film is custom cut for your
measurements, therefore we do charge a 20% restocking fee
